Students will learn how to build creative partnerships and networks among artists, audiences, communities, businesses, teachers, and students. The minor in Arts Entrepreneurship and Curatorial Studies offers students hands-on, practical, field experience to propel them toward careers as professional artists, curators, designers, illustrators, researchers, leaders of non-profit and community arts organizations, or creative entrepreneurs. NOTE: If a student starts the minor in sophomore year or later, ACCT 200 and ART 315 can be taken together in the same semester (or one at the time), after which ENTR 400 and ART 444 can be taken together in another semester (or one at the time), and then, once all those core courses are completed, MUSC 491 or THET 491 or ART 491 should be taken in another semester by itself.
